Financial Services Authority: First financial regulator

Over the period of the Labour governments in the UK from 1997-2010 the Financial Services Authority was responsible for regulation of the financial sector. The new body required a name and identity as the previously disparate bodies were brought into a new entity. The identity reflected both finance and global reach.
